Day 1 : Cochin
You are welcomed at Cochin airport by our local agency representative or your French-speaking guide. They will assist you with the transfer to the hotel we have reserved for you for the next two nights.

Day 2 : Cochin
After breakfast, visit Mattancherry Palace.
Also known as the "Dutch Palace," this palace was built in 1555 by the Portuguese (the first Westerners to arrive in the region) as a gift for the Raja of Cochin, Veera Kerala Varma. Its nickname comes from the restoration undertaken by the Dutch in 1663. Despite its Western origins, the palace is built in the Indo-Keralan style, with beautifully crafted wooden structures, magnificent painted coffered ceilings, and roofs reminiscent of Chinese pagodas.
In the afternoon, visit the Kochi Synagogue, the oldest synagogue in the Commonwealth (closed on Fridays and Saturdays), and the Jewish Quarter.
In the evening, attend a Kathakali dance show.

Day 3 : Cochin / Mararikulam (43 km / 1h)
After breakfast, you visit Saint Francis Church and Santa Cruz Basilica before exploring the Fort Kochi district to visit the huge Chinese fishing nets hanging.
After breakfast, depart for Mararikulam.
Arrival and check in at the hotel.
Your afternoon is free and you can enjoy relaxing on the beach.

Day 4 : Mararikulam / Alleppey (20 min)
After breakfast, depart for Alleppey.
Arrive and check into your houseboat.
Then, take a short cruise on the backwater canals to explore the surrounding villages.

Day 5 : Alleppey / Periyar (128 kms / 3h30)
After breakfast, depart for Thekkady, a small village near the Periyar Reserve and many spice plantations.
Arrival and check-in at the hotel.
In the late afternoon, visit the spice plantations of Kumily, which include cardamom, pepper, ginger, and turmeric plants.
In the evening, attend a Kalaripayattu performance.
Kalaripayattu is a martial art derived from battlefield combat techniques of the 11th and 12th centuries. Performed by skilled and trained artists, this show highlights their combat skills with bare hands and weapons such as swords, spears, shields, and more.

Day 6 : Periyar
After Breakfast, You go for a walk in the park, you also do a jeep excursion in the surroundings and a boat ride on the lake or elephant in the jungle.
You can also stay at the hotel if you wish and enjoy the pool or Ayurvedic treatments that are offered.

Day 7 : Periyar /Munnar (120 km / 3h)
After breakfast, depart for Munnar.
Arrival and check-in at the hotel.
Later, visit the Tata Tea Museum and its magnificent tea plantations (closed on Mondays).

Day 8 : Munnar
After breakfast, embark on various visits in the city of Munnar, including the Eravikulam National Park, which spans 97 km² and is a UNESCO World Heritage site within the Western Ghats mountain range.
The Rajamala Hills, also part of the Western Ghats, are famous for housing the Nilgiri Tahr, a wild goat, and offer picturesque landscapes, tea plantations, and hiking trails near Munnar.
Visit the Mattupetty Dam, a concrete gravity dam constructed in the mountains of Kerala.
Next, visit Echo Point, popular for its natural echo phenomenon, located about 200 meters above sea level, offering lush green landscapes due to tea plantations.

Day 9 : Munnar / Kodaikanal (163 km / 4h30)
After breakfast, depart for Kodaikanal, a small town nestled in the hills whose name means "The Gift of the Forest" in the Tamil language.
Upon arrival, check-in at the hotel.
In the afternoon, visit the Elephant National Park, where you can admire a diverse range of flora and fauna: wild boars, elephants, gaurs, and Nilgiri tahr (Nilgiri ibex). Perhaps you will have the chance to catch a glimpse of the famous Bengal tiger!

Day 10 : Kodaikanal
After breakfast, you embark on a boat safari to admire the wildlife within this reserve.
The rest of the day is dedicated to a safari in the park.

Day 11 : Kodaikanal / Palakkad (174 km / 4h15)
After breakfast, you leave for Palakkad.
Arrival and check in at the hotel.
You will then visit the Kalpathy temple. Also known as KasiViswanathaswamy, it is a very popular Hindu temple.
You continue then with the visit of the garden Malampuzha Rock, first garden constructed of this kind in South India. You will discover impressive works in a calm and peaceful atmosphere.
Later, you will discover the Fort of the city. Built in 1766, it is located in the heart of the city and remains one of the best preserved forts in Kerala.
In the afternoon, you make an excursion to Dhoni Falls. Located about 15km from the city of Palakkad, this waterfall is a very popular place and loved by tourists, especially for trekking. After reaching the summit, you have a beautiful view of the jungle and the waterfall where you can swim to cool off.

Day 12 : Palakkad / Wayanad (180 km / 5h)
After breakfast, visit Thiru Nelli Temple, an ancient temple located at an altitude of 900m in a valley surrounded by mountains and beautiful forests, dedicated to Lord Maha Vishnu; as well as the 15th-century Jain temple.
In the afternoon, you go on a jeep safari in Wayanad National Park before heading to the town of Wayanad.

Day 13 : Wayanad
After breakfast, you set out to explore the wild sanctuary of Wayanad, the second largest park in the Kerala region.
Covering an area of 344.44 km², this park is home to a wide variety of wildlife and flora: Indian bison, elephants, deer, and even tigers can be spotted here.

Day 14 : Wayanad / Thrissur (188 km / 5h)
After breakfast, depart for Thissur.

You then proceed to witness the magnificent processions of caparisoned elephants during Pooram, carrying their golden palanquins and statues of temple deities from the region.
The afternoon is dedicated to visiting the prestigious Kalamandalam school, a venerable institution that teaches traditional performing arts of Kerala. You attend classes in Kathakali, a costumed and sung drama, as well as Koodyatta and Mohiniyattam, dances exclusively performed by women.

Day 15 : Thrissur / Cochin (86 km / 2h) / Flight back
After breakfast, you leave for Cochin and then you are transferred to the international airport to take your return flight.
