Day 1 : Delhi
You are welcomed at Delhi Airport by the representative of our local agency or by your French-speaking guide to greet you to India. They will assist you with the transfer to the hotel we have reserved for you for 2 nights.

Day 2 : Delhi
After breakfast, the day is dedicated to exploring Delhi.
Bathed by the holy waters of the Yamuna, Delhi was twice the capital of an empire, first with the Mughals, then in 1911, with the British.
The city is divided into 2 very contrasting parts: New Delhi, the Victorian city with wide avenues, its business district, and the parliament grouped around Connaught Place; and Old Delhi, the old city and capital of Muslim India, with alleys lined with bustling markets. The old city houses the Red Fort, a testament to the power of the Mughal emperors, as well as the largest mosque in the country: Jama Masjid.
You will explore Old Delhi on foot, then visit Raj Ghat, the mausoleum of Mahatma Gandhi. Next, you will visit the tomb of Humayun, a beautiful example of Mughal architecture that is said to have inspired the construction of the Taj Mahal.
After lunch, you will visit the Qutub Minar, the tallest tower in the country at 72.5 meters high.
In the late afternoon, you will discover New Delhi passing through RajPath, the Royal Way, before admiring the India Gate, the Parliament, and the Presidential Palace.
In the evening, you will share a moment of fervor with the Sikh community at the Bangla Sahib temple.
Day 3 : Delhi / Jaipur (310 km / 5h)
After breakfast, you depart for Jaipur, one of the most pleasant and lively cities in India.
The capital of Rajasthan is also called 'The Pink City' in reference to the color of the buildings in the old town, which is surrounded by bare hills topped with fortresses and crenelated walls. Sacred cows, camels, elephants, and rickshaws coexist here. Built in 1727, Jaipur is one of the most colorful and picturesque cities in all of India.
You will visit the 'City Palace' with its fabulous collections of weapons and period costumes, the 'Jantar Mantar,' an astonishing observatory built by a prince passionate about astronomy, and the Hawa Mahal (or Palace of Winds), a slender structure pierced with over 900 windows and balconies.
In the late afternoon, you will stroll through the bazaars of the old city in a rickshaw to admire the artisans in their shops (potters, dyers, jewelers), street vendors, and vegetable sellers.

Day 4 : Jaipur
After breakfast, you depart for an excursion to Amber Fort.
This majestic construction is located 9 km north of Jaipur, in the former capital of the Rajput empire.
Then, the afternoon is free and reserved for shopping.

Day 5 : Jaipur / Ranthambore (175 km / 3h)
After breakfast, you leave for the Ranthambore National Park, which is known as one of the favorite places to see the Bengal tiger, where you spend the day.
The 280 km² that form the original heart of the park once constituted the former private hunting area of the Maharajas of Jaipur. It was one of the first parks opened as part of the Project Tiger launched in 1973 by the Indian government after the ban on tiger hunting.
After lunch, your day is spent on two safaris and visiting the Park. A first safari in the morning and another in the evening, two totally different atmospheres!

Day 6: Ranthambore / Bharatpur (255 km / 4h)
After breakfast, drive to Bharatpur.
Arrival and check-in at the hotel.
You visit the Keoladeo National Park, a sanctuary of more than 230 species of birds, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Day 7: Bharatpur / Fatehpur sikri / Agra (70 km / 1h15)
After breakfast, depart to Agra.
On the way, you will visit Fatehpur Sikri, one of the most remarkable places from an artistic and architectural point of view.
Fatehpur Sikri is the former capital of Emperor Akbar, built in 1571. The Imperial City contains buildings in pink sandstone of the most varied architectural forms: palaces, pavilions, courtyards and basins, mosques, and caravanserais.
Arrival and check in at the hotel.
Then, set out to visit the Taj Mahal.
You will then discover this iconic monument of Mughal art and architecture, a luminous mausoleum of white marble inlaid with semi-precious stones.
It was built by Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his wife Mumtaz Mahal and is considered the third wonder of the world.

Day 8 : Agra / Delhi / vol de retour (240 km / 4h)
After breakfast, you visit the Red Fort of Agra, whose high red sandstone walls dominate the
Yamuna River. It marks the birth of the Mughal imperial style and offers you the opportunity to take a last look at the Taj Mahal.
Then you take the road to Delhi and its airport before taking your return flight.
